Open Cut Drainage
The Company carries out the more difficult types of drainage works. These mainly consist of deep excavations in water bearing strata, restricted access and large diameter pipes.
Recent works include:
- Hatfield Business Park - Construction of deep open.
- cut pipes up to 2.4m dia. including 3 no pumping stations 9.5m deep.
- Strood Tunnel Refurbishment - Replacement of existing tunnel drainage 2.5 km long in a confined working space with restricted access.
- South Thames Development Route - Construction of reinforced concrete culverts for river diversion and pipelines and chambers for service diversions.
