Environmental Statement
It is the policy of Joseph Gallagher Ltd. that the Company will comply with all current legislation regarding environmental matters. The current Legislation which affects construction work, but not limited to, is as follows:-

JGL recognises the known environmental implications of its' activities and will cause all operations to be carried out in such a manner as to ensure a high standard of environmental awareness.
In order to make that intention reality, site management will consider the following when drawing up any programmes or construction methods:-
Promote the development and improved standards of construction and manufacture that are energy conscious and utilise construction materials in an efficient manner.
Cause materials to be handled and disposed of in a manner that does not damage the environment.
Cause the impact of JGL works on the environment to be controlled in such a manner that the short and long term effects will be reduced to an acceptable level.
Promote and maintain close relationships with enforcing authorities and environmental organisations as appropriate.
Promote environmental awareness in their employees and other persons under their control.
To ensure respect of everyone’s responsibility to the environment in which they live.
Promote the use of materials from sustainable resources.
Minimise the risk of pollution by waste products and toxic substances.
To ensure all staff and employees are aware of the Company's policy and provide training to ensure the policy is fully implemented.
