Colin Simes: Bank Station
Awarded by construction manager John Cummins, Colin received his award for reviewing and changing the access arrangements to the shaft at Arthur Street to ensure his colleagues were segregated from vehicles entering the site.
Paul Henderson: Bank Station
Paul received his Best Practice Award for highlighting a safety issue with a crane on site.
Eddy Hind: Bank Station
Eddy has been awarded a Best Practice Award for his continual high standard of work and is always on call for Arthur Street station works and the whole block.
Arjan Singh: Bank Station
Awarded by Dragados for the high volume of observation cards submitted.
Lee Boyle: Queens Park
Competent and careful operation of the excavator, during removal of rock around the existing brick sewer and flume pipe.
Paulius Kulikaukas: Beckton
Shane Gallagher presents Paulius Kulikauskas with this month’s best practice at Beckton. Paulius was recognised for the way he has embraced the LIFE culture, he has been observed carrying out many awkward and challenging activities in a safe manner. Paulius is also vocal and not afraid to raise any safety concerns he has on site, well done Paulius, keep up the excellent work.
