The Joseph Gallagher Group, based in Orsett, Essex; together with organisations around the world, are supporting World Quality Day 2020.
The Joseph Gallagher Group already operates a quality initiative across the organisation, called Prevention Not Correction, the aim of which is to change and align attitudes across the business, so everyone is committed to reducing error and providing value.
Padraig McEntee, Group Quality Manager, said “To celebrate World Quality Day, we will be launching a new communications campaign, a new online quality induction and, more than 1,000 members of the workforce will stop and provide suggestions on adding value for our clients and achieving our business goals for quality. We will also be celebrating those who consistently improve performance every day of the year, with a best practice award.”
Jaine Bolton, Group Marketing and Communications Manager, said “World Quality Day was the perfect platform for launching our new campaign. We wanted to focus on what quality means to our organisation, how everyone contributes and that it is individual actions that make all the difference.”
World Quality Day (WQD) is celebrated annually on the second Thursday in November.The Chartered Quality Institute uses WQD as a campaign to promote quality management (in line with their Royal Charter purpose of advancing quality management for the benefit of society) through its members and partners.
