Specialist Plant Associates Ltd

is an independent engineering company operating within the J. Gallagher Group that manufacturers, supplies and hires a range of equipment to the tunnelling, construction and civil engineering industries. We are ISO 9001 registered for our design, manufacture, hire and supply operations.

Tunnelling Equipment

We operate a wide range of hire equipment including shaft sinking systems, grouting equipment, ventilation fans, rail, muck skips, manriding cages, settlement tanks, air receivers etc. for the tunnelling industry. We are also the UK's leading supplier of hyperbaric tunnelling equipment, offering systems for both open and closed face tunnelling machines.

Ventilation Equipment

We operate one of the UK's most substantial fleets of ventilation fans, ranging in diameter from 300mm to 1500mm and powers up to 60kW. We supply ventilation equipment to a wide range of customers in tunnelling, civil engineering, construction and rail maintenance/refurbishment. Our supply can include surveys, ducting and monitoring equipment allowing our customers a one-stop shop for temporary ventilation systems.

Grouting Equipment

We operate a substantial range of our own design of air-powered grouting equipment offering great simplicity with rugged reliability for the harshest of site conditions. We are also agents for, and operate, a range of Uelzener electrical/diesel driven mortar/grouting equipment, offering our customers both pumping and spraying solutions for their mortar products.

Concreting Equipment

We operate CIFA concrete trailer pumps in our hire fleet, along with all accessories such as pipes. We are also UK agents for CIFA and can supply boom pumps, truck mixers, trailer pumps, batching plants, tunnel shutters etc. to meet our customers' requirements.
