Sprayed Concrete Linings
The Company has been involved in Sprayed Concrete works for both tunnels and shafts.
- At Falkirk in Scotland as part of the Millennium Link Contract the Company completed a full design and construct sprayed concrete lined canal tunnel in joint venture with Sprayed Concrete Ltd
- On CTRL Contract, 250 Wayside contract, 5000 cu.m. of shotcrete was used as primary and secondary lining to 200m of tunnels varying in cross-section. Works included shafts, connection adits and inclined tunnels.
- On CTRL Contract 103 Sprayed Concrete was used to construct the 6m dia tunnel junction chambers
- At Kings Court, in Ireland, we are constructing twin inclined drift tunnels as part of a development for a new Gypsum mine. The work consists of two 6m dia NATM tunnels inclined at 20 degrees, with a 250mm thick sprayed concret lining, also included in the works are asset structures and access ramps.
