JGL has been contracted to work with principal contractor Dragados on Bank Station Upgrade as a Labour only contractor, undertaking the excavation and construction of the tunnels.
Bank Station Upgrade is a £563m scheme to increase the stations capacity by 40% by 2021. Bank and Monument Station see 52million people entering and leaving the station annually, or switching between the Northern, Central and Waterloo and City Lines and Dockland Light Railway. The projects main objectives is to ease passenger congestion in the Northern Line and DLR areas of Bank/Monument complex.
