Apprenticeship Day - The Future of LIFE

We recently brought our apprentices together for a fantastic team-building day, giving everyone the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and strengthen relationships across different areas of the business. It was a brilliant way to bring people together from across the UK and celebrate the incredible talent developing within our teams.

Apprenticeship Day is a key moment for us to recognise the valuable contributions apprentices make every day to our continued growth and success. It also reinforces our core values of Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Excellence, and Determination, while creating a space for apprentices to share experiences, learn from one another, and celebrate their achievements.

JGL Apprentices

There’s a good group of people to ask for advice who are only a couple of years older than me.

Apprenticeship Day is a fun and informative day. It shows appreciation and highlights the effort the company invests in developing our careers. It really reinforces the culture of teamwork, respect, and integrity.

It helps us understand the company and the wide range of work we do. Apprentices come from all over the UK, working on different projects, and this gives us the chance to connect and learn about each other’s roles and career progression.

I got to know people in the company that I wouldn’t usually work with on site through the team-building activities.

It gives me a better sense of what the company is about and helps me meet other apprentices I wouldn’t normally come across day-to-day.

Building Skills for the Future

Apprenticeships are about more than qualifications - they’re about learning, growing, and creating opportunities for the future. By investing in our apprentices, we are supporting the next generation of skilled professionals who will play a key role in shaping our business.

A huge thank you to all our apprentices for their hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication. We’re excited to see what you achieve next!
