Trailwalker Challenge Raises Over £10,000 for the Gurkha Welfare Charity
Four teams successfully completed the demanding 100km Trailwalker Challenge along the South Downs Way, covering the route from Queen Elizabeth Country Park to Brighton Racecourse in an impressive 17 to 21 hours. The teams took on the endurance challenge in support of the Gurkha Welfare Charity, raising more than £10,000 through the generosity of sponsors and supporters.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors for their valuable contributions:
- Denholm Industrial Services
- Berryrange Ltd
- Herrenknecht AG
- EDD Ltd
Their support played a vital role in helping us achieve this fantastic fundraising total.

The Trailwalker event holds particular significance for our business. We are proud to work alongside many talented Nepalese colleagues across our operations, whose skills, commitment and expertise contribute greatly to our success.
By taking part in Trailwalker, we not only supported a worthy cause but also recognised and celebrated the important contribution of the Nepalese community. The funds raised will help the Gurkha Welfare Charity continue its valuable work supporting Gurkha veterans, their families and communities across Nepal.
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the challenge, as well as those who donated and supported the teams throughout their journey. This outstanding achievement reflects the dedication, teamwork and community spirit of all involved.
