Early design input: Building engineering confidence before construction starts

Long before excavation works commence or equipment arrives on site, the success of a project is shaped through thoughtful engineering and early design involvement.

During a recent visit to the Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture project, our Design team witnessed first-hand the value of early contractor engagement and proactive design development in reducing #construction risk.

By addressing complex ground conditions, construction sequencing, temporary works requirements and logistical challenges at the earliest stages, potential issues can be identified and resolved while they are still simple and cost-effective to manage. This approach enables uncertainty to be transformed into opportunity.
