Seeing is Believing: Collaboration for Meaningful Social Impact

Last week, we were pleased to attend the Liverpool Bay CO₂ Transport and Storage Project “Seeing is Believing” supply chain event at Sandycroft Community Hub.
The session reinforced that this project is about more than infrastructure delivery - it’s about how we work together to create meaningful, long‑term social value for the communities along the route. Key themes and next steps included:

  • Moving to genuine collaboration across the supply chain
  • Taking a more joined‑up approach to schools engagement, building on existing programmes and sharing access, content and relationships
  • Exploring the co‑development of a consistent schools careers & education pack, helping to showcase pathways into construction and infrastructure and reshape perceptions of the industry
  • Strengthening engagement with school careers advisors to modernise the narrative around careers in the sector

A great example of partners coming together with a shared ambition: doing things differently, together, and focusing on outcomes that leave a positive and lasting legacy.
We’re looking forward to continuing the collaboration and turning these conversations into action.
