Project Overview

Joseph Gallagher played a key role in the upgrade of Bond Street Station, one of London Underground’s busiest and most complex interchanges. The project was delivered within a highly constrained city-centre environment and formed part of a wider programme to relieve congestion, improve passenger movement, and enhance accessibility, including step-free routes and improved interchanges.

Scope of Works

The upgrade involved the construction of new underground routes and station assets, connecting seamlessly with existing London Underground infrastructure and the wider transport network. Works were undertaken in extremely confined spaces and in close proximity to live operational assets, requiring careful planning, specialist construction techniques and close coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Joseph Gallagher provided specialist tunnelling, structural and temporary works expertise throughout the project. Our teams were involved from early design stages, helping to develop construction methodologies and programmes that supported safe and efficient delivery.
