Ultimately with JGL, you are in control of driving your learning and reaching your end goal, but we are committed to providing you with the support and tools to help you get there.
This covers technical, safety, personal and competency-based training, combined with general management courses for intermediate level managers.
We support and develop our people at all levels, both on site and in our UK-wide offices. Training and Development varies from day release to attend college courses, funding degrees or post graduate qualifications, refreshers courses and more. Taking the step to speak to your line manager is the first step to help you create those opportunities to grow and flourish at Joseph Gallagher.

Mental Health Champions on site
Towards the end of 2021, we became a registered CITB centre and successfully developed and trained a small team internally to deliver bespoke CITB courses. This help us deliver greater efficiency and allowed more of our workers to attend CITB accredited courses on site.
The centre was launched this summer at our headquarters in Orsett and the centre has already delivered two CPCS training workshops with more accredited courses planned this year.
