Celebrating the success of our people frequently is what sets us apart from our competitors.
Each week, site workers or office staff who display the core LIFE values and behaviours outside of their daily roles are presented with a financial reward.
Last year, almost 600 Best Practice Awards were given out to our people. Not only do we celebrate weekly awards, our Life Leadership Team issue out monthly and annual awards to staff who continually embrace our LIFE (Living Incident Free Everyday) values of Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Excellence and Determination.
This year saw the introduction of fortnightly LIFE meetings at the JGL and NRC headquarters in Essex, following feedback from office staff who were keen to feel just as connected with the Group's cultural safety behavioural programme as those employees on site. Meetings are chaired fortnightly by the Group SHEQT Manager.
To date, we have received some incredibly valuable feedback and seen on the onset of initiatives to help promote the LIFE culture in our offices, including the introduction of best practice awards, better welfare facilities and arranging site visits to our live projects.
