FINALISTS - Quality Team of the Year!
We’re delighted to share that Joseph Gallagher Limited has been named a finalist in the CQI | Chartered Quality Institute International Quality Awards 2026.
Our submission showcased the outstanding work delivered on the Hinkley Point C Fish Return System, where the team identified a critical assurance risk during manufacture. Instead of relying on assumed compliance, the team took decisive action — pausing the process to design a technically robust, fully auditable verification route. This strengthened governance, acceptance controls, and evidence requirements across the entire package.
What makes this achievement especially significant is that it's not only about solving a technical challenge. It reflects a genuine team effort that helped shift quality from reactive checks to a prevention‑led, evidence‑driven approach — creating a repeatable assurance model with long‑term value for the business.
The CQI’s annual International Quality Awards celebrate excellence across eight categories, recognising quality professionals, teams, and organisations across the globe. The 2026 awards bring together a diverse, multinational group of finalists, each making a powerful contribution to performance through quality.
